As Valley Metro's Artsline Spotlight Artist, I designed a mural at the Roosevelt/Central Ave light rail station. The mural embodies themes of freedom and new beginnings, creating an uplifting and thought-provoking experience for commuters. Unveiled during Art Detour 35 and Women's History Month, my goal was to contribute beauty and meaning to the community. Growing up in the Middle East, my journey as an artist took time, but coming to the U.S. allowed me to bring positive messaging into my work. I hope each viewer finds a unique connection to the mural.
